PELICAN PARK

Public BBQ

Pelican Park is a beautifully maintained waterside haven. Situated right on the beach, it offers stunning views, especially at sunset, which overlooks the bay and the Hornibrook bridge. The large parking area and excellent amenities, including a visitor info center, make it highly accessible. It's a perfect place for family outings with an enclosed playground for children, including a wheelchair swing, and ample open spaces for pets or a game of catch. The park is also home to an impressive floating water park, while the nearby beach is clean and peaceful. On any given day, you might find locals flying kites, launching boats, or enjoying the serene ocean breeze. Pelican Park is also host to various events, like the Kite Festival, car shows, and a highly praised Chinese Festival, which attracts diverse cultures and offers a variety of food options. For quieter times, there's always the opportunity to spot pelicans along the shore or dolphins in the water.
